HSA Divers take over Ponta Malongane!!
In April this year, Scooba Doo Dive Centre took five HSA (Handicap Scuba Association) divers to Ponta Malongane. For some of these adventurous divers, it was their first ocean dive.
This wasn’t just an ordinary scuba diving trip. Except great diving, one of the blind HSA divers, taught the abled-bodies how to play ‘blind cricket’. The abled-bodies were blindfolded and had to rely on their hearing sense, in order to play the game. It was a funny sight to see, but it was all fun and laughter.
The Scooba Doo gang did not only focus on their own pleasures, but also reached out to the community by distributing Portuguese Bibles among the Mozambican locals.
This trip touched both the lives of the HSA divers and the locals. The HSA divers were exposed to a possibility of a ‘new kind of normal’ lifestyle.
Altogether, it was friends having a great time.
